Our third Porta site is on its way… Opening on Chapel Street in Salford, Manchester in November, all being well. As we eagerly await the results of the hard labour that includes stripping back the many layers of wood-chip and re-laying the beautiful parquet floors. Characterful sites suit the laid-back style of Porta well and the Salford venue is no exception, set in a beautiful former bank with original coving, high ceilings and huge arched windows.

The first-floor bar area will be perfect for parties and events throughout the year and an ideal place to pull up a pew for a relaxed drink at the bar if there’s a queue for a table. As the sunshine comes back out to play, we have a lovely outdoor space ideal for enjoying tapas and a chilled glass of wine under the trees of Bexley Square.
